Terms & Conditions for Contests and Giveaways

1. Promoter

The Mental Health Awareness Week 2026 Flight Centre Photo Competition (the Competition) is run by the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand (MHF).

2. Eligibility

The Competition is open to individuals, schools, workplaces and community groups based in New Zealand.

Employees of the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand, Flight Centre Travel Group and their immediate family members, are not eligible to enter.

3. Competition period

The Competition opens on 12 October 2026 and closes at 11 pm on 18 October 2026. Entries received after this time will not be accepted.

4. How to enter

To enter, participants must submit a photo or video via Instagram or Facebook featuring one of the Mental Health Awareness Week 2026 Social Media Stamps during the competition period.

They must also tag the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand (@mhfnz on instagram) and use the hashtags #MHAW2026 and #BelongingMatters in the caption.

5. Entry requirements and permissions

By submitting an entry, you confirm that:

• You are the original creator and owner of the photo or video submitted; or you have obtained full permission from the owner(s) to submit it.
• You have received consent from all identifiable people featured in your entry (and from a parent or guardian if they are under 18).
• The content does not infringe any third-party rights, including copyright, privacy or intellectual property rights.

6. Judging and winner selection

Winners will be selected by a panel of MHF staff based on creativity, relevance to Mental Health Awareness Week, and alignment to the Belonging Matters theme.

Winners will be chosen by 1 November 2026.

All judging decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into.

7. Prize

The prize is one $500 Flight Centre Travel Group gift voucher

Prizes are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other alternatives.

MHF reserves the right to substitute a prize with one of equal or greater value if necessary.

8. Winner notification and claiming prizes

Winners will be notified by a comment or direct message on the winning social media post.

If a winner has not responded to the comment or direct message within 48 hours they will forfeit the prize and a redraw may take place.

Winners may be asked to participate in reasonable promotional activity.

10. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, MHF accepts no responsibility for:

• Late, lost, incomplete, or misdirected entries;
• Technical issues affecting entry submission;
• Any loss, damage, injury, or disappointment suffered as a result of entering the Competition or accepting a prize.

11. Changes or cancellation

MHF reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the Competition at any time if circumstances arise outside its control.

12. Flight Centre Gift Card T&Cs

Gift Card can be redeemed for travel products at Flight Centre stores within New Zealand and online. Gift Cards are not reloadable and cannot be redeemed for cash, credit, or foreign currency products. Gift Cards are partially redeemable, and it is the cardholder’s responsibility to use the full value before expiry, as unused balances will not be refunded or credited when the Gift Card expires. Extensions are not permitted under any circumstances. Flight Centre (NZ) Ltd accepts no responsibility for lost or stolen Gift Cards or those obtained via non-approved channels.
