Policy positions and submissions

Our advice to government and other decision-makers, and positions on key mental health topics.

0 selected

We write submissions and policy positions to improve the mental health system as well as other, non-health related laws and policies that have a big impact on our mental wellbeing, such as poverty, racism, colonisation, discrimination, family violence, poor housing, bullying and isolation.

All our mahi (work) is evidence-based and informed by Māori, people with lived experience of mental distress or illness and other relevant communities to ensure we reflect the views and experiences of the people most affected by a given law or policy.

We are proud to be politically neutral and independent from government in our advocacy.
