Join our Finance and Administration Team!
We are seeking a dedicated Senior Finance Administrator to support the organisation with financial reporting, budgeting, and accounts duties. This is a 6 month fixed term role. This role is crucial in ensuring the performance of our finance and administration functions, and will suit someone who is efficient, organised, and has a good eye for detail.
This role is part of our Finance and Administration team, a close knit but approachable group known for their joyful and engaging nature. With diverse backgrounds and skills, they relate to a wide range of people and maintain strong relationships across the organization. Though they often work in the background, they are a beloved part of the work we do.
What you will do:
- Assist in producing monthly management accounts and distribute reports to relevant people
- Process the fortnightly payroll and leave reports, providing advice to staff as needed
- Prepare and process monthly account reconciliations, update tracking spreadsheets, and review trial balance
- Prepare and reconcile GST, FBT, and PAYE returns
- Implement and manage systems to ensure efficient financial administration
- Develop excellent working relationships with staff and external stakeholders

You will be:
- Experienced in finance administration, specifically in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable function
- Strong data input skills and proficiency with accounting software
- High attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality
- A friendly and approachable personality - you have to be able to discuss budgets and systems with staff who may not understand them
- Interest in working with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds, and a willingness to grow your knowledge of Te Ao and Te Reo Māori.

The salary band for this role is $63,000 - $73,000 and will be commensurate with the successful candidate's skills and experience.
