Are you passionate about creating engaging and impactful digital experiences? Do you have a knack for understanding user behaviour and crafting content strategies that captivate audiences? If so, this could be the role for you.
As the Digital Content Specialist, you will be the driving force behind ensuring that all user-facing materials are engaging, consistent, and optimized for maximum impact. Your role will involve curating content that resonates with our audience, guiding them through seamless and intuitive digital experiences. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our digital content is engaging, effective, and aligned with our brand vision. This role offers a unique blend of creativity and technical expertise, providing a platform for you to showcase your skills and make a meaningful impact.
Your expertise in content management systems (CMS), email marketing, and user journey mapping will be critical in enhancing our digital presence. You will be responsible for maintaining and improving the front end of our websites, managing email campaign rollouts, and providing insights on best practices to improve user engagement and retention. By understanding our audience's needs and behaviours, you will create content that not only informs but also inspires and drives action.
This role is both strategic and hands-on, requiring a balance of creativity and technical acumen. You will play a key role in shaping our digital content landscape, ensuring that every piece of content is not only well-crafted but also effectively delivered and measured for success.
What you will do
- Analyse user behaviour, identify pain points, and create strategies to enhance the user experience.
- Manage email campaigns, optimise deliverability, and integrate solutions with Salesforce.
- Oversee website content, collaborate with internal teams, external agencies, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Develop and implement content strategies that resonate with our audience and drive engagement.

You will have
- Strong understanding of CMS platforms and email marketing tools (e.g. Marketing Cloud, Laravel Nova, Shopify, Raisley).
- Certification or equivalent experience in relevant platforms and tools, for example Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, Google Analytics, and Meta
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Creative thinker with a passion for crafting engaging and user-focused content.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Existing knowledge of and willingness to grow and extend knowledge of Te Ao Māori and Te Reo Māori.

The salary band for this role is $77,000 - $87,000 and will be commensurate with the successful candidate's skills and experience. If this role sounds like a fit for you, we’d love to hear from you!
