As our Content Producer, you'll create content that inspires change, fosters awareness, and supports campaigns like Pink Shirt Day and Mental Health Awareness Week. Be the creative driver behind our campaigns, crafting content that inspires and connects with diverse audiences

To excel in this role, you'll need strong copywriting skills, a keen eye for design, and proficiency in creating and editing digital assets. You'll also use data to refine content strategies and enhance results while building the MHF brand through compelling storytelling and creative content.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop creative concepts and content for MHF campaigns, ensuring alignment with marketing goals and brand consistency across campaigns
  • Lead copywriting efforts, producing high-quality content for eDMs, adverts, websites, and more
  • Collaborate on social media strategies with relevant team members
  • Work with design and digital specialists to optimise content for diverse audiences and platforms
  • Work with cutting-edge tools like Adobe Creative Suite to produce high-quality digital stills and video assets
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and experts to ensure messaging is accurate, culturally inclusive, and impactful.
  • Analyse campaign performance and report on insights to optimise future efforts.

What you will have

  • Proven ability to craft compelling, engaging copy for diverse platforms and audiences
  • A tertiary qualification and/or experience in communications, marketing, or related fields, with skills in social media, email strategies, film editing, or marketing analytics
  • Proficiency in tools like Canva, Adobe InDesign and Premiere Pro with the ability to design, develop and edit images and videos.
  • Proficiency in filming high-quality content, including the ability to plan, shoot, and capture engaging video footage for various platforms
  • Skill and experience in creating a wide range of digital and print assets.
  • Experience in audience development and audience segmentation
  • Experience or interest in the NGO sector, health promotion or mental health initiatives
  • A willingness to grow and extend knowledge of Te Ao Māori and Te Reo Māori, contributing to culturally inclusive practices.

The salary band for this role is is $76,000 - $86,000 and will be commensurate with the successful candidate's skills and experience.
