The Mental Health Foundation was asked to make a submission to Dr Sharon Shalev, an independent international expert commissioned by the Human Rights Commission to lead a review of seclusion and restraint practices in Aotearoa New Zealand. This is a follow up review from Dr Shalev’s earlier report published in April 2017 ‘Thinking outside the Box?
