Supporting mental health and wellbeing has always been a part of Olivia’s life, from working as a mental health support worker and telephone counsellor, policy work on alcohol and other drugs to completing a Churchill Fellowship looking at using mobile health technology (e.g. tablet screening tools and apps) to better identify and help women experiencing depression or distress during pregnancy or motherhood. Olivia studied psychology and public health, and has a background working in health policy in government and charities both in New Zealand and in the United Kingdom.
Olivia lives and works (part time) in Wellington with her husband Mike, their two children, and cat Bernie.
