Maurine brings a wealth of experience to her role at MHF. She holds a double master’s degree in business and engineering, and has over 25 years of experience across varied roles in the commercial sector, giving her a very broad and solid skillset as a general manager.
Originally from France, Maurine moved to Aotearoa in 2001. In 2020, Maurine joined Sustainable Coastlines as their People and Operations Director, before joining the team at MHF at the beginning of 2023. Working for an NGO was Maurines long-time goal, to align her mahi with her personal values.
Maurine prides herself on being a super empath, which enables her to connect deeply with people and with the kaupapa MHF are working on. She brings with her a wealth of lived experience, as well as the experience of being the health and wellbeing advocate for her tamariki.
When she’s not working Maurine is an avid learner and loves immersing herself in all things arts, culture, language, and travel. And dancing, especially, brings her joy.
