With the change that COVID-19 has brought to our lives, it's more important than ever to look after our wellbeing, and the wellbeing of our whānau and community. Being active, staying connected, keeping a routine and setting ourselves challenges are all great ways to help us do that.

The MHF's new online fundraiser invites Kiwis to "go the distance" for mental health while staying active in their bubbles. There are three fun walking/running events to choose from. Set your own distance and fundraising targets and earn achievement badges as you reach your goals. Ask your friends, whānau and work colleagues to support you on your journey and maybe even join you in a virtual team effort.

  • ‘Set a Challenge’ and walk the length of the North Island or run a marathon over May.
  • ‘Keep your Routine’ by pledging to walk the distance you would travel to work or school each day.
  • ‘Stay Connected’ by syncing your walks remotely with a friend each day while calling to check in.

You can help the Mental Health Foundation continue supporting Kiwi households in this changing environment. We don’t know what the biggest needs will be in the coming months, but we do know the need for mental health support and information will grow. Your donations will ensure the Mental Health Foundation can provide resources, information and hope to families around the country. Sign up to look after your mental wellbeing and that of all Kiwis. We'll be here to support you every step of the way!
