The child of not one, but two Anglican priests, Ali moved a lot while growing up, starting in Porirua and spending time in West and South Auckland, Kaitaia and Central Hawkes Bay. They are proudly Takiwātanga/Aroreretini. They Whakapapa to Tainui and Mātaatua and are Irawhiti Takatāpui.
Ali is passionate about different things on any given day but is led by core interests in strengths-based collaborative mahi, neurodiversity and good kai. They advocate for food and housing security, building safe communities, indigenous rights and sustainability.
Ali has moved to the Mental Health Foundation after a decade in SME consulting to bring the ASD/ADHD balance of data driven/creative stewardship to our community and campaigns fundraisers.
